1962
CMC S.r.l. (Carpenterie Metalliche di Colzate) is founded by a group of entrepreneurs working in the textile-mechanical field for the production of metal structural elements.
1972
CMC begins a long, fruitful cooperation with ELMAG SpA, Italian representative for the Siempelkamp Group. CMC starts producing movable forming lines.
1975
The cooperation with ELMAG becomes more intense, and CMC begins the production of automatic systems for feeding and discharge lines for the finishing of furniture components, and rectangular vibrating screens.
1976
Texpan SpA is founded, as a spin-off of ELMAG itself, specializing in the chipboard sector.
1978
TCMC starts the production of after-press lines, load cell mat scales, drying systems, panel saws. Meanwhile, CMC expands, erecting new workshop facilities and painting activities.
1980
CMC starts cooperating directly with Krefeld-based Siempelkamp GmbH for the production of forming machines for MDF and OSB. CMC builds, in cooperation with Texpan, the first stationary forming machine.
1982
CMC start cooperating with SHS for the production of after-press lines, panel saws, and automatic storage systems.
1988
CMC expands. A whole new office conglomerate is built.
1990
Stocks are traded between CMC and Texpan.
1991
New CMC production facilities are built in the Pisonda, Colzate neighborhood.
1994
CMC doubles the size of its production facilities by acquiring nearby territory.
1997
CMC acquires Texpan know-how and personnel and brings together, under one brand, both the engineering and the production departments for the construction of machinery and plants.
1999
A new CMC production facility is built.
2000
CMC-Texpan designs and develops new models of forming machines with increased capacity. Meanwhile, the expansion process continues: a new headquarter offices conglomerate is built above the workshop.
2002
CMC-Texpan celebrates its fortieth anniversary.
2008
CMC-Texpan designs new screening machines, new roller screens and improves its range of hammer-mills.
2009
CMC-Texpan designs new gravimetric separators, new blenders, new metering systems for particles and new glue kitchen.
2010
Siempelkamp acquires majority share in CMC Texpan.
2013
Siempelkamp acquires the totality of CMC Texpan.
